Boston Latino TV to honor Brookline’s Colette Phillips
June 19, 2012

Brookline —

Colette A.M. Phillips, founder, president and CEO of Colette Phillips Communications, will receive the “Community Networking Award” during Boston Latino TV’s fifth annual Access Awards on June 28.

Phillips, a Brookline resident, is being honored for her “arduous work, dedication and success in providing consistent networking opportunities for professionals of color in New England” through her bi-monthly “Get Konnected” events in Boston.

Now in its fourth year, “Get Konnected” brings more than 300 urban professionals together every other month for networking events built around changing topics at a variety of venues in the city.

Phillips, who pioneered inclusion and multicultural marketing in the Boston/New England region, leads one of Boston’s top public relations and marketing firms.

The Access Awards recognize the influence, creativity, leadership, networks, passion, vision and spirit of individuals and organizations that are strengthening the Latino community. The Community Networking Award is one of eight that will be presented on June 28. The event will be held at the Royale Nightclub, 279 Tremont St, Boston, at 7 p.m.
